It apparently closed in 1929, and eventually became an extension to the Lloyds Bank.The archway to the stabling area can still be seen. But to add a bit more interest to this subject I,can`t help thinking that the old building to the right of the arch, (green tiles and Arabs heads),was another entrance to the also defunct ,Sarasens Head that was situated in at No 3 Kings Rd.
