My great grandfather Walter Jeffrey Symonds was publican of the Crown and Thistle, Great Chesterford 1891 census. *

My father John Jeffrey Symonds was born in the Tally Ho, Trumpington, Cambridge in 1921 and lived there to about the age of 4-5. His father, also John Jeffrey Symonds was the publican at the time. I can’t prove this item in terms of public records. *
