14 September 1940/The death occurred on Tuesday at his residence, "Longcroft", Willingale Spain of Mr George Arthur Box, after a short illness. The deceased, who was in his 73rd year, had many friends in Chelmsford, where for some twelve years he held the licence of the Queens Head Inn in High Street. He left there a few years ago, and became landlord of the Queens Head at Southminster. On the death of his wife a little over a year ago he retired to Willingale Spain. Five sons and two daughters survive, Funeral today (Saturday) at Southminster at 11 am/Essex Newsman ***
