Aldgate pub history index
This is listed under Bishopsgate in 1871, and later in Aldgate. The earlier address is at 33 Bishopsgate Street. It seems to have been built in around 1900 and is now closed - the premises being used as a confectionary shop. Survived as a pub until at least 1957 **
