The Sea Witch Public House, Greenwich, London owned and operated by Alexander Goss (brother of Sarah Jane Goss Blake) where Sarah Janes daughters, Elizabeth, Annie Josephine and Charlotte Blake worked for their uncle Alexander Goss.

to the right of Cyril, the three brothers father, a son of Alexander Goss.
* destroyed by bombing during world war II shortly after it was sold by the Goss family.

Eliz Blake (Maries grandmother) and her 2 sisters, Charlotte and Annie sometimes worked at the "Seawitch", as young women, to help out the Goss Family.
Marie was told a sailor once stayed overnight at the pub and brought his monkey which spent the night picking little pieces of wallpaper in the bedroom until morning when he had ruined the wallpaper.
The Goss family sold the pub just before World War and it was bombed and destroyed probably because it was the home of many of Britains navy activities.

In 1861 he was a publicans manager at the Spotted Dog, Cirencester street, in Paddington. On September 8th 1863, Alexander Goss marries Arabella Hearn at St James Westminster. He is a Licensed Victualler of St James street, son of Thomas Goss, Gentleman, and she is a spinster, daughter of Daniel Hearn, a Draper.
By 1865 he is Licensed Victualler at the Warwick Castle,, 6 Warwick place, Warwick road W. From about 1871 to November 1876, Alexander Goss is the Licensed Victualler at the Crown, 13 Albert terrace, York road N7.
In 1877, Alexander Goss of the Sea Witch River Bank East Greenwich is named as an executor in the will of Thomas Blake, at the Grove Ealing. He is his brother in law.
