In 1866 the address was given as 1 Drayton Grove. This pub stands at the junction of Old Brompton Road and Drayton Gardens. It was first licensed in 1847 and rebuilt in its present form in 1891. Then at 89 Thistle Grove before 1891, then 89 Drayton Gardens before 1899, and 2 Drayton Gardens by 1899 until 1938. The address alters to 153 Old Brompton Road in 1944. **
