Green Dragon, 4 Shadwell Dock Street, Shadwell E1

Shadwell index

The Green Dragon is still listed in 1854 at 4 Shadwell Dock street.

There appear to have been two pubs called the Green Dragon near each other in Shadwell. Green Dragon Alley is a separate street running off the north side of Wapping High Street, very near the intersection with New Crane (aka New Gravel Lane). It is shown on the 1799 Horwood map of London. They also both have separate (named) entries in the 1851 census at the different addresses, so must be different locations. *
