I am putting together a complete site listing all details of accessible travel in London in 2012, and as an improvement on the page below. If you can help, please let me know. I need anything such as pictures of train steps and gaps, examples of good practise at stations, and any past experiences of helpful staff and stations. I know there are plenty of excellent staff who care. Please help me to add as much detailed information on the games for London site as is humanly possible. This is my little bit of effort towards making the Olympics 2012 a great success as they will be, and in particular for the visitor with accessibility issues. Thanks in advance.
Here is a typical example of the National Rail enquiries detail - this was at the 1st June 2012, and I am hoping they may wish to reconsider whether this detail is even appropriate considering the 2012 Olympics are 55 days away.
What a load of poo! This is the detail for the London Overground station - Hackney Wick. Note the staff help.
Do I need to summarise this help as slightly negative. There are staff available at this station, just not for those with disabilities. Incidentally, there are many more pages similar.
