Hurley pub history index

A chef who propelled The Crown at Burchett’s Green to Michelin star status, has taken on the 16th century Brakspear owned country pub The Dew Drop Inn at Hurley just outside Henley, where he will be back behind the stove cooking solo.
Simon Bonwick, who describes himself as a ‘manic food fanatic’, along with his wife Deborah, will be opening the doors in January offering a seasonal menu of dishes in the ’20-odd cover’ dining room.
