My great uncle Christopher Harris was a publican at the Sir Robert Peel, 69 Victoria Dock Road about 1896 and then by 1901 at the “King Harry “ 20 North Street Barking and then in 1911 “Anchor and Hope “ 2 Over the Gates or 2 Highbridge Road Barking . He died there in 1918 and his wife Harriett there in 1920. *
