I used to know this pub. My Nan lived in Tudor road and I went there a lot as a child. Teddy robins ran the pub at one time and so did Teddy Machin, my uncle. There was an eel stall outside ran by a man called Bert. It was a salubrious place and was frequented by the Upton Park mob in the fifties. **
