Woodman, Higham Street, Walthamstow

Walthamstow pub history index

A listing of historical public houses, Taverns, Inns, Beer Houses and Hotels in Essex. The  Essex listing uses information from census, Trade Directories and History to add licensees, bar staff, Lodgers and Visitors.

There are two beer houses by the name of The Woodman in the 1870s and 1880s. One is in Wood Street, the other in Higham Street. The Cooper family were at the Wood Street Woodman from 1881, and at the Higham Street address prior to this, I think!
