Researching my great great grandfather, JOHN MARK NEWMAN (1790-1864) and
find he is listed in about 1860. He was a saddlemaker by trade, and retired
to St Albans circa 1861, and died there in 1864. *
24/09/1859 quote " The license of Tom of public-house, at Redboum, was
endorsed till transfer day,
from William Proctor to John Mark Newman. " - Hertford Mercury and
Reformer. *
