Accurate transcriptions of the 1921 census are being added to the pub history site, starting with London.
Frindsbury index
This pub was formerly called the Jolly Sailor (listed separately on your site). In fact I have seen an 1869 reference to the sale of property in Upnor including “the Jolly Sailors Inn or Pier Hotel”, suggesting that both names were used concurrently. **
Pier Hotel, Upnor Street, Lower Upnor - in January 2011
