George Maple, my great great uncle was later the licensee for the Dog & Bear in Rough Common . He married my grandfather's Aunt, Maria Hands Jull in 1874, and she bore him 13 children, all of whom survived into adulthood. George co-founded the Harbledown Cricket Club in 1869 **
