Royal Cricketers, 211 Old Ford Road, Bethnal Green

    Bethnal Green pub history index

Until at least 1855, this pub was called the Hosford Arms and I have seen a reference from 1889 to the “Hosford Arms, known as the Royal Cricketers”. ** The 1863 license transfer refers to it as the Hosford Arms and Royal Cricketers, Old Ford road. The 1874 license transfer also refers to the Hosford Arms.

A listing of historical public houses, Taverns, Inns, Beer Houses and Hotels in Bethnal Green, Middlesex - now in East London. The Bethnal Green, East London listing uses information from census, Trade Directories and History to add licensees, bar staff, Lodgers and Visitors.
