In the 1970's the pub was run by William (Bill) Marshall and his Mother. Advertising had them listed as Bill and Mum. Unfortunately I can’t provide exact dates even though Bill is my Uncle and Mum my Gran. *

It closed at some time by 1991, and the premises are now in use as a coffee shop. **
