Valuable Public house and Wine vaults, Chelsea.
Messrs Warlters, Lovejoy, and Son are instructed by the Executors of Joseph Archdeacon, deceased, to sell by auction, at Garraways on November 3, the Public house known as the White Hart, Duke street, Chelsea.
The premises are commandingly situate in the centre of a populous neighbourhood, contiguous to the steam wharfs, on which thousands are daily landed, and to the celebrated Cremorne Gardens.
The house contains ample accommodation and enjoys a good and respectable trade.
Morning Advertiser 25 January 1853 :
Transfer of Licenses - White Hart, Duke street, Chelsea, the executors of Joseph Archdeacon to Joseph Gregory.
In consequence of the incoming tenant having been unable, through severe indisposition, to attend the last meeting of the magistrates, this transfer was not then effected.
Yesterday, however, he was present; and the transfer was immediately granted.
