* At 21 Halliford Street up until 1881, then renamed to Oxford Road in 1884, then back to Halliford Street by 1895.  In 2010, the photo shows the pub undergoing conversion to residential use with provision for incorporating a possible pub once again. Reopened mid-2017 as a bar/restaurant called Halliford House. ***
