Mile End Pubs history

The address of this pub is variously given as 54 Stepney Green, 64 Stepney Green and Clarence Place, 1 Stepney Green. By the 1980s it was trading as the Ace of Clubs. In around 1990 the name became Ship on the Green and the address by now was 60 Stepney Green. The pub closed in 2005 and is now a private residence. **
