At 155 Kingsland Road in the 1861 census, and named the Champion Arms, But in 1856 and earlier it was called the Mail Coach. It is also referred to as the Mail Coach in the 1855 and 1875 license transfers. Then by 1889 this pub had again been renamed the Old Mail Coach. Closed in 1912 as a pub through the compensation award scheme. **

who they ran a number of pubs in London from the early 1900's. (James) Arthur Dickson was the father and he had two sons Arthur George Dickson and Ernest Edwin Dickson, all involved in the brewery trade. ***
