In 1882, complete renumbering takes place - changing from 414 Oxford Street to 53 Oxford Street; By 1895, the Pub is renamed the Primrose. This pub was rebuilt in its present form in 1900. It is now closed and in retail use. ** By 1906 the pub is renamed again to the Shamrock. Its original name is listed in directories as simply the Mischief, rather than the fuller name. *
