The 1856 and 1869 directory entries list the address as at 2 Thorney street and 469 Oxford street; whilst many of the earlier records just list it as Thorney street. At 55 New Oxford Street by 1884 - road name change. In 1861, the Old Crown was at 479 Oxford Street
