In 1776, the Lodge of Perseverance meets at the Westminster Arms,  in Tuthill Street (or Tothill street).

This address is the Chequers in 1848, and renamed the Westminster Arms by 1851. The address was 1 Francis Street up to 1871; it became 1 & 2 Francis Street in 1881 and 5 Francis Street in 1891, and the pub was demolished around 1900 for the construction of the Ashley Gardens mansion black on Emery Hill Street. ***
