Early records give the address as 6 Temple Street, Whitefriars and at 1 Temple Street in 1881 census. The address alters between 1891 and 1895 to become the White Swan, 28 & 30 Tudor Street.  ** Ex-Truman's. Trading by 1991 and known locally as the Mucky Duck but since closed and converted to alternative uses. Swan motifs can be still be seen between the ground floor pilasters. ***
