In 1911, my Grandmother Lilian Grace Daniels, with her parents and siblings, were all living at The Castle, Woolwich. Her Father, my great grandfather, William Thomas Daniels, who had served with the Royal Fusiliers on the NW Frontier in India was Landlord there. *
He was previously Landlord at the Prince of Wales Pub at 155 Upper North Street, Poplar, by 1913, he was licensee of the Golden Lion, Bexley Heath; and ultimately was Landlord of the Jenny Lind Pub in Carshalton Road, Sutton, Surrey (which I believe is now called "The Nightingale").
