Victor Thomas Turner had the telephone number during the 1930s up until 1939
as "The Cock" in High Street Sutton.
So I think he may have been the manager in the 1930s before William Herbert
Size, as Victor went on after that to manage the Alperton Park Hotel in
Wembley area in the 1950s. By 1959 he and his wife, Rebecca had moved to
manage The Orange Tree Hotel at
45 Kew Road, Richmond and he eventually died there in 1968. *

After the bombing of The
Kings
Head, Newington Causeway - Daisy Hollidge (nee Size) went to work
with her brother William Thomas Herbert Size at the Cock Hotel, Sutton
Surrey, William was the Manager there from 1937-1950 ish.
