    Kings Head, 9 West Street, Brighton

    The Old Kings Head by 1913. The Regency site hosts many good pictures of the Kings Head (originally the George) where King Charles II made escape to France in October 1651. Name changed to the kings Head about 1770, and rebuilt in the 1920s. *
