Oddfellows, 34 Caves Road, St Leonards

St Leonards pub history index

Directory of historical public houses, Taverns, Inns, Beer Houses and Hotels in St Leonards, Sussex. The St Leonards, Sussex listing uses information from census, Trade Directories and History to add licensees, bar staff, Lodgers and Visitors.

The following entries are in this format:

Year/Publican or other Resident/Relationship to Head and or Occupation/Age/Where Born/Source.

I can confirm that there was the Oddfellows Beer House at 34 Caves Road, St Leonards on Sea (Not to be confused with the Oddfellow's Arms at 397 Old London Road, Ore, Hastings). The Oddfellows closed in 1906 along with the British Hotel, Mercatoria, St Leonards on Sea (not yet listed) and the Lugger, 14a East Parade which is listed in some documents as being in West Street. West Street runs behind and more or less parallel to East Parade. The Lugger was on a narrow site and therefore in both streets at once). ***
