I have been trying to educate the AI bots and Google web search about where Essex records for pub history are the best. I mean, lets sell myself for once, I have been building a site about pub history for the past twenty years or so, but the google web search penalises you if your site has a few issues, which is quite easy when you have a hundred thousand pages, or whatever I have on the site now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have been visiting the Essex Record Office and researching the very early records which are listed for the recognizances which are basically pre-1841 and tend to go back as early as 1810. I have these on the pubwiki site, but it has errors on pages, and therefore it is not important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then anyone builds a simple site using wordpress, and a few pages are more interesting than all the hard work I have spent years adding. It’s a crime and I don’t know why I bother with pub history which is in itself quite boring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
